Something I’ve been keeping up with for a while now is “The Weekly Digest”, pretty much it is what the title suggests, hunting down songs that sit nicely in my ears. One thing you won’t find in here is the same genre throughout, music suits all different kinds of moods and situations. This playlist which I update 50 songs or so every Tuesday, gets the vibe going in the car, or just general travelling but you may find it useful elsewhere. It also gives me a chance to listen to new artists that I may have recently stumbled upon. This week for example “Fool To Love” by Nao has fully got my head bouncing up and down, #ThatBeatThou #IthMad. “Bad Blood” by the same artis, I definitely had on a repeat for a while so it’s good to have a second banger from her.
The weather on Sunday was sick, had me mowing the grass and day dreaming about all the things summer is about to bring (99 days to go) meanwhile Zara Larsson – “Lush Life” was pumping away so you’ll definitely find that somewhere in the list. (Insert Video) because they are definitely under appreciated. So this week we have those kind of tracks and then to finish…
Kendrick Lamar – “Untitled 06 feat. Cee-Lo Green”. I’m praying that some of these tracks get played at BST, then the guy has way too many songs that everyone is just gonna be losing their head to , I’ll be happy either way but if you don’t already know he recently brought out a compilation album consisting of 8 tracks that were recorded around the same time as To Pimp A Butterfly #Music. Situations like this always make me wonder about unreleased tracks that don’t make it to albums or even unreleased singles. Ahh life in the music industry. Anyway, this isn’t the point. Enjoy good music.
And here is one more video by Etta Bond. Can’t stop wheeling it up recently. Just watch. Replay it etc. etc. Until next week ya’ll.
