There's just something about life

So over the weekend this competition caught my eye over on Twitter. Hosted by retailer New Balance, it speaks so much for the one major thing that tends to hinder my running or exercising in general. Essentially when you’re out there and your aim to reach your goals you need to quickly realise and adapt your mind to the fact that the only person you’re competing with is yourself. NB words: “There is no greater opponent than the one inside your own head. That nagging voice of self-doubt, the voice that tells you to slow down, to give up, to throw in the towel. They know your every weakness and how to hurt you. You are your Toughest Opponent.” In terms of competition, you can win a 10 week fitness experience, I’m all for it, if it’s going to aid and support my goals. My pledge is to “be a consistent king”, especially for next three weeks as we bring the 6 week challenge to an end and get closer to the 5K London run on June 19th (I’ll post more about this shortly). Go on over to pledge your “Tomorrow I Will…” HERE and of course here are some supporting visuals from Non Stanford, Joe Root, Heather Watson and Ben Stokes to inspire you a little more, especially if you struggle like I do. #Win #IAmTheCompetition
